They added more stages to Belgium, Mexico, etc. Really, the only brand new maps are (to my knowledge I’ve only played since WRC10) France, and Turkey. I am still previewing all the stages and I was happy to see Croatia had some new details and towns added to the stages so there are some exceptions. Not sure if the new start locations on the same previous maps were to replicate real rallies and their different start locations or if this was a clever ploy to distract you from the fact that you are playing the same map. Car selection and Map selection will leave WRC10 players wanting a little more. The easiest way to describe it is WRC Generations adopted a little bit of Dirt Rallys pedal play, but maintained the core physics and spirit of the game. Although, it was fun to just pin it in WRC 10 I do appreciate a little more pedal play from the game. The game has some major improvements, you can no longer pin it flat out with little to no repercussion. It towers over even the excellent Dirt Rally 2.0, which eventually racked up 13 locations after its run of DLC was complete. Those are locations that aren’t on the 2022 calendar but are included because why the heck not? I’ve played rally games that have arrived with fewer countries than the bonus locations in Generations alone.
